Thank you all for the suggestions!
You guys are too awesome. Haha! I’ve listed all of your suggestions down so I can go through them using the internet! I’m not too sure yet whether I just want a point and shoot, or an slr film camera. We’ll see!
Thanks again guys!
So I’m really interested in getting myself a new film camera, any suggestions guys?
Decided to just leave the Yashica for my brother to use.

jelinecatacutan asked: what settings do you use for fashion shows? :)
It pretty much depends on the lighting situation of the runway show. I’m always on manual mode when I shoot. A good runway show to shoot has to have enough lighting, but sometimes they’re dark, so I keep my aperture on the largest opening, which is the smallest number (ex. f/1.8). Although, using the smallest number gives such a shallow depth of field, that sometimes the whole subject isn’t in focus. If you’re lucky enough to have a decent amount of light coming in, then you should definitely raise the aperture to a bigger number. The shutter speed on the other hand is definitely what’s more important when taking runway shows. I basically bump it to whatever number freezes enough of the motion. If you want an example, you can check out the latest photo that I just posted (the profile of the model). If you view the photo on your dashboard, you can check what settings I’ve used by clicking the small italicized “i” that appears on the bottom left of the photo. Hope that helps!
Hey guys! I’ve got news!
Just got myself a cargo, for a more professional type website. Tentative though, until I get myself a real site. I wasn’t so sure whether I’d drop the name “Living in the Stills”, and use my real name instead, but I’ve decided that I’ll keep it as the name of my blog, and just use my real name for my portfolio. So, drop in if you’d like (click the photo), and check it out! I’d really appreciate some feedback as well.
*Hoping to get hired during my 2 month stay here in the Philippines. Spread the word people! hahaha I’m kidding!*
Thanks!

uanpictureforu asked: Hi Miguel, quick question. You used to have ads in you tumblr page, right? Why it's gone now? Is putting ads on tumblr now prohibited?
No, putting ads on tumblr is perfectly fine, but I just took it out cause I found it annoying on my site, and to be honest, I wasn’t really making that much out of it. haha!
